The PPW / AIWF Michigan State Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line as the champion "The Big Deal" Cody Manning defends against "The Cowbow Cruiserweight" Billy Ray Daniels. These two young guns are no stranger to one another in the ring. Over course of 2017 Manning & Daniels had one of the most intense, physical, and exciting rivalries PPW has ever seen. Both men absolutely despise each other and have a massive score to settle - what better way to do this than a good ole fashioned Texas Bull Rope Match!

The Cruiserweight Title will be on the line January 6 2018 at the Birch Run Expo Center as Manning & Daniels go toe-to-toe in one of the most brutal matches every concocted in pro wrestling. Both men will be joined by the wrist by a bull rope. In the middle of this rough and rugged bull rope will be an old fashioned cow bell fashioned from iron. The object of the match is to be able to touch all four corners of the ring consecutively. Once all four corners are touched the match is ended and the winner is declared.

The Texas Bull Rope match was first made famous by the likes of Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, and Manny Ramirez. Historically this style of match has often proved to be an all out fight as opposed to a traditional pro wrestling match. The bull rope and cowbell may be utilized for offense and overall quite literally anything goes. Past Texas Bull Rope matches were used as huge box office draws and as a serious way to end a feud.

On January 6 at the Birch Run Expo Center Billy Ray Daniels will lock horns with Cody Manning with the fate of the Michigan State Cruiserweight Title hanging in the balance. This match is guaranteed to be worth the price of admission! If your sitting ringside, be warned -- this one will be an old fashioned SLOBBER KNOCKER!
