Salem Ash Takes His Training to a Whole New Level

November 28th, 2017

Rookie sensation Salem Ash is finishing his freshman season at Pure Pro Wrestling and is looking forward to 2019 and his opportunity to face Gideon Malice at the Birch Run Expo Center. Malice has one last scheduled defense in December and if he's able to defeat Impact Wrestling TV Star Idris Abraham on Dec. 2, Ash will have his first opportunity at the Michigan State Heavyweight Championship.

Ash joined PPW's training program several months ago and after a short time impressed the training staff so much that they gave him opportunity to compete over the Summer at Mandurance. Ash's first few matches were rough, but despite picking up a few losses the reaction he received from the loyal PPW fans became a heavy indicator that this young man has a bright future.

On January 6 at the Birch Run Expo Center, Salem Ash has a chance to become the first rookie to hold the Michigan's most prestigious title. Considering that the champion Gideon Malice is 6'4 240lbs, Ash is going to great lengths to prepare for the match. Malice has not lost a match since the Summer's end and neither has Salem Ash. Malice has the experience, however what Ash lack's in form, he makes up with passion.

Every since the deal was signed for these two titans to compete, Salem Ash has taken his training into overdrive. Sources close to Ash have confirmed that he is in the gym for several hours 7 days a week on top of keeping a regular in ring training schedule with PPW staff. Ash has also scheduled matches outside of PPW to help him prepare to face the monster known as Malice.

Will the extra grind time in the gym get the job done for this rookie sensation? Or will Gideon Malice add another notch in his belt? To see this main event live log into on Friday, December 1 to purchase tickets.
